Box Encapsulation Plant (BEP) Project

Selection Criteria

Shaun Lees, Quality Manager at BEP discusses pre-selection of suppliers, flowing down of contract requirements and lifetime records (O&M).

Do you pre-select your suppliers and are you vulnerable to making the same mistakes over and over again? Are contract requirements flowed down to suppliers and do they understand what you have to deliver? Do you keep lifetime records – O&M Manuals?

The paperwork which supports goods and equipment is equally important because, without that supporting documentation, you can’t be sure that this will last for the lifespan of the project.

This may be 50, 60 or even 100 years when cells can’t be accessed.

Have you got the confidence that your goods and services will maintain the standards required?
