About CITB
The Construction Industry Training Board (known as CITB) supports the skills needs of the British construction sector.
It’s our job to work with industry to encourage training, which helps build a safe, professional and fully qualified workforce.
We have three strategic priorities – Careers, Standards and Qualifications, and Training and Development.
We attract people to join construction through our Careers priority, and we support the development of people to construct a better Britain through our Training & Development and Standards & Qualifications priorities.
Our range of funding supports employers of all sizes to invest in apprenticeships and qualifications; supports smaller employers to invest in company-specific training and invests in industry-wide programmes to address big issues such as careers and training provision.
Free digital mentoring for construction businesses
A free mentoring service has been launched by the CITB to support construction firms with implementing digital processes and techniques. Digital Construction Skills will help develop the skills construction firms need to drive digital transformation in their business.
