If you can answer yes to any of the above, Cumbria Business Growth Hub is here to help! Today we’re launching our new Supply Chain Pilot Programme, filling a gap in current business support provision.

This programme offers 1-2-1 support for a period of three months (April to June) to 12 businesses from any sector based in Cumbria, offering an initial discovery call and then a further four to six meetings (dependent upon business need). Tapping into the extensive knowledge and experience of Martyn Staveley of 3 Peaks Consulting Limited you’ll take a closer look into action planning, learning resources, access to finance, public procurement processes, finding and responding to tenders, local opportunities such as the new Garden Village, signposting to other support and also gain valuable experience through attending an in person ‘meet the buyer’ event. The meet the buyer event will allow you to practice your pitch, understand the kinds of questions buyers will ask and you need to be able to answer, challenges you may face and identify areas for improvement.

We’re taking expressions of interest – anyone interested in taking part in the pilot programme will need to provide the below information.

• Further detail about the business you own/operate within
• Why do you want to take part in the pilot programme and what do you hope to achieve?
• What areas of supply chain activity are you most interested in?
• Level of supply chain experience to date
• Where do you see support taking you in relation to future supply chain activity?
• Are you looking for opportunities locally, nationally or even internationally?

This pilot programme is being offered at an introductory rate of £695 +VAT.
