Cumbria CVS has just launched a new Volunteering Opportunities database for Cumbria to help organisations to promote their volunteering opportunities. Organisations looking to recruit volunteers and anyone interested in becoming a volunteer can register here: https://volunteering.cumbriacvs.org.uk/

Organisations can self-register their organisation and add different volunteering opportunities onto the database. This enables potential volunteers who also register through the Cumbria CVS Volunteering Opportunities database to search for local volunteering opportunities and apply directly to organisations.  This brand new volunteer management software works to build better communities through volunteering and to raise the profile of volunteering to help to grow, nurture and develop our volunteer workforce and volunteer pool throughout Cumbria.

Volunteers can create a Volunteer Profile on the new database and search for local volunteering opportunities and then apply directly to organisations looking to recruit volunteers. Once registered, Cumbria CVS will also provide volunteer follow up to make sure volunteers have found a potential volunteering opportunity and to offer any additional support into volunteering. The database updates volunteers weekly on any new volunteering opportunities.
