The Site Redevelopment Programme at BAE Systems in Barrow-in-Furness is the largest investment in infrastructure facilities and capability since the creation of the Devonshire Dock Hall.

Although three major UK construction companies have been selected to deliver the work, they were selected on ability and commitment to engage with the local supply chain.

The programme is only half-completed so there are still significant opportunities for the local supply chain, for local apprentices and for college students to get involved.
