This three hour session will enable you to make the media work for your organisation to promote your business and services for free.
The workshop covers:
- How the media can help promote your business and attract new clients
- Identifying what is a news story in your business
- How to write a good press release
- How to take a good media photo to increase the size of your coverage in the media
- How to get your media release published/broadcast

Emergency first aid – blended delivery

This course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is delivered and assessed by Skills Shop in accordance with current Resuscitation Council UK guidelines.
To keep you safe, Cumbria Chamber of Commerce has again teamed up with Skills Shop so you can gain or renew your Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
In order to reduce the amount of face-to-face interaction we’re introducing a blended course.
This will entail all delegates completing a 2 hour online module (this can be done in bitesize chunks and at a time to suit you) prior to attending the 4 hour practical session.
