Ofgem £450m fund
A new fund to unlock greener ways to travel and to heat and power homes and businesses. The fund aims to keep bills as low as possible and drink the UK towards its goal of net zero, and to help turn the country into the ‘Silicon Valley’ of energy. Find out more here.
Carlisle City Centre Business Growth Grants
Carlisle City Council is providing grants of up to £2,500, or £5,000 in strong cases, for new and growing small-medium businesses who are looking to occupy vacant space in Carlisle city centre. Grants may be used for capital expenditure relating to physical improvements to the premises, as well as equipment essential to the operation of the business. Find out more here.
Low Carbon Lake District Grants
Thanks to support from the European Regional Development Fund, the Lake District Foundation is delighted to be able to offer a second round of grants to community groups and small to medium sized businesses wishing to reduce their Carbon Footprint. Applications will open on 23rd, September until Thursday, 14th October.
