Monday 13th November
10am- Personal Finances
Join Dodd & Co Chartered Accountants for a webinar to discuss personal cashflow and some suggested techniques to help with the management of your own finances. This highly relevant topic will benefit everyone and forms a useful starting point for those who are considering setting up in business. On completion of the seminar the attendees should feel more comfortable with household budgeting and will be able to create their own personal survival budget.
Tuesday 14th November
10am – Your brand is more than your logo
While your logo serves as the face of your business, it is merely one aspect of your brand identity and a very small part of your brand as a whole – your brand is the lifeblood of your business, especially at the beginning, it’s more than just a logo, it’s a comprehensive narrative that defines your vision, values, and brand proposition. In this 1 hour workshop, we’ll explore why you need to delve deeper, uncovering the emotional elements that constitute your brands personality (this helps with the emotional connection from your customers). Crafting a compelling brand story, rooted in authenticity and purpose, not only engages your target audience but also forms lasting success.
We will also then cover the process and tolls to ensure you have the right logo and visual identity for your brand.
11.30am – Business Expenses
Dodd & Co Chartered Accountants will present a session considering allowable expenses. This highly popular topic will look at current HMRC legislation and discuss some of the tax reliefs available. The session will be interactive and will also look at pre-trade expenses, cash payments, and will touch on some suggested methods of record keeping.
1pm – Intro to social media
Social media is a great way to attract new customers, engage, communicate and build customer loyalty with your business – and is a must-have for any new and growing business to increase their brand awareness and gain followers and fans.
In this 1 hour workshop, attendees will learn about the most popular social media platforms available, how to create a content strategy that helps to engage and convert their followers to paying customers and how to track and measure your results.
