Cumbria Business Growth Hub still has funds remaining which end on 30th June this year, so you need to be quick to ensure you don’t miss out.
We really don’t want to have to give funds back and would much rather spend them to support the local Cumbrian SME community.
So what can you use funding for?
- Website design/re-design – videos/images
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Marketing – campaigns, plans, PR support, design (including digital marketing) just not printed collateral
- HR
- Legal
- Accountancy
- Architectural/planning
Basically any project you need to employ a consultant for.
There are two levels of funding available:
- 40% up to £2,000 for any business in the first three years of trading (retail is excluded)
- £1,000 for a project of £2,500 or more for any established business working mainly with other businesses or looking to grow the B2B side (we are expecting to be able to up the amount offered but can’t yet confirm at this stage)
Applications need to be for new projects, it’s a simple three page application with three supporting quotes but you decide who does the work. Once the application is submitted it’s usually approved within two days and our part of the subsidy is paid directly to the supplier on submission of certified required evidence.
All funds need to be approved and evidenced by 15th June so payment can be processed by 30th June.
