Eco-I North West: Low Carbon Events

As part of Eco-I North West in Cumbria, we are excited to offer Cumbrian business’s the opportunity to participate in a range of Low Carbon Events. Led by the University of Cumbria and in collaboration with delivery partners from Impact International, Cumbria Action for Sustainability, and JB Consulting, the programme aims to support businesses in the transition to net zero carbon emissions through virtual and venue based events.

The programme will enable businesses to take control of their low carbon journey through a series of collaborative virtual and in-person events helping them to achieve their low carbon objectives. Designed to share experiences, tackle challenges and provide solutions; our workshops will inspire positive change within business. The programme will also deliver a personalised route map for businesses, the Low Carbon Events Programme; Strategise, Solve, Share is the first step to strategically plan and boost confidence in your greener future.

The programme is designed to be of relevance to businesses at various stages of the journey to net zero emissions , with the focus being on taking action (not just listening), gaining knowledge, an sharing ideas.

Along with the events programme we are still able to assist Cumbrian SMEs in reducing carbon emission through researcher support; if you are interested in exploring a new product or service with a potential carbon saving and would like some academic backing, the project could assist.
