Supply Chain support returns

Cumbria Business Growth Hub is pleased to re-launch its Supply Chain support and Supply Chain Opportunities Club after an extended break from activity.

Since January 2019 the Growth Hub has worked with Engie, Booths, Eric Wright and Pirelli to open up supply chain doors and give local Cumbrian businesses the opportunity to ‘meet the buyers’.

Not only can the Growth Hub make introductions but our team of supply chain advisers can provide additional one-to-one support with responding to tenders and helping bidders get the appropriate systems, processes and accreditations in place. There’s also free training, delivered online, or a subsidy (40% up to £1,500) for specialist consultancy support. In total there’s at least 12 hours support (or at least £1,000) to help businesses become more competitiveness and grow.

Our Supply Chain Opportunities Club will also be back up and running over the next few months. Its aim is to open doors to future business opportunities for Cumbrian businesses, helping them build relationships with potential buyers, collaborate successfully and win more contracts.

We’re refreshing content under the Supply Chain section of the Growth Hub website, adding new podcasts and publishing tender opportunities.

So, we’re keen to hear from you if you have specific tender requirements you’d be happy for us to share and/or you’re keen to help more Cumbrian businesses enter your supply chain or increase their business within it. Similarly if your business is looking to enter new supply chains, gain more business or make new connections. Please get in touch in the first instance through info@cumbriagrowthhub.co.uk.
