Since it’s relaunch Made in Cumbria is going from strength to strength.

We’ve increased our social media presence where we introduce new members, share interesting articles and blogs, useful updates as well as celebrating member successes.
Our monthly MIC newsletter launched at the end of February – ‘Deekabout’ is full of information about Cumbrian businesses and their products. Each edition will also feature one of our, latest blog posts and the latest updates from our MIC members featuring media appearances, events, new collections and more!

Pure Lakes Skincare site tour
We’ll be heading to Pure Lakes Skincare on Thursday 18th April – 10am to 12noon.
Pure Lakes Skincare Ltd is a natural & organic skincare manufacturer based in the village of Far Sawrey, near Hawkshead.
Their routes to market are hospitality, third-party retail & e-commerce, and they make a variety of own-brand and private / white label products.
All the packaging used by Pure Lakes is sustainable and sourced from as close to home as possible, and the ingredient set is entirely plant-based & biodegradable.’
The tour will include:
- a short tour of the site
- Sit down Q&A with refreshments
There will be a small charge of £20 +VAT per person – this will go straight back into delivery of future activity as some funding streams have now ended and will not be replaced.
