Don’t miss some great opportunities through Cumbria Business Growth Hub

Eat for Better Business

Date: 19th September 2023
Time: 10am to 11am
Venue: online

This short webinar will be presented by Jackie Wilkinson of Nutrition Coaching.

Good business results are delivered by high performing individuals.  For great work you need to be at your best without suffering any afternoon slump or fuzzy concentration.  That means putting the right things in your body.  You wouldn’t try to run your computer on gas or your car on jet fuel, but with confusing messages everywhere it’s hard to know what to eat for the best.

This taster webinar is designed to enable delegates to make better food choices for productivity and safety at work.

It includes information input, personal reflection, times for Q&A and action setting. Jackie will bust many currently fashionable food myths to help you feel great and work at the top of your game.

By the end of this interactive workshop, delegates will:

  • know the importance of diet
  • have identified the impact on work of bad food/drink
  • understand why we eat and what we need
  • recognise better breakfasts and lunches
  • have set an action to eat for better business

We’re going back to the Torpenhow Cheese Company on Monday 25th September for cheese and ice-cream!

We’ll begin with an introduction to the farm, a little on Mark & Jenny’s journey, followed by tours of the dairies and farm.

We’ll then meet the cheese-makers, Gelato team and the herd! Wellies are advisable.

Then we’ll wrap up with a networking opportunity, ploughman’s lunch and Gelato.

There will be a £15 per person charge for this tour to cover the cost of a ploughman’s lunch and an ice-cream.

Anyone interested in attending please email lesleyr@cumbriachamber.co.uk  – our first tour was a great success, so this again promises to be a really worthwhile 3hrs of your time.
