With just a few weeks to go until Defra’s National Food and Drink Summit 2023, please remember to register for this free event here. The event, being held at the Oval in London on Thursday 9 March, will bring together micro, small and medium-sized food and drink producers from across England.

The day will include a choice of workshops covering finance and resilience, skills, innovation and routes to market, to help inspire you on the next steps for your business’s growth. As well as hearing from businesses who have trodden similar paths (including Fevertree, TRIBE and YumChop), the event’s Marketplace will feature a number of support bodies who will be on hand for you to discuss your business’ needs. These include teams from the Department for Business and Trade who will be offering export support, representatives from the Department for Education to share details of apprenticeships and other recruitment opportunities, Made Smarter, Innovate UK, Enterprise Nation, the British Business Bank, UK Export Finance, SALSA – to name but a few! This year we are also pleased to include a ‘Meet the Buyer’ session, where selected attendees will have the opportunity to speak to a buyer about their products.
