Carlisle College is looking to hear from any businesses wanting to offer industry placements or work experience to young people, giving them a chance to develop their employability and learn the required skills directly.
Industry placements – are a requirement for a selected cohort of student groups. The students are required to complete a minimum of 315 hours until July 2023. Students complete the hours on a day release basis alongside their college course or in block weeks throughout the year.
Work experience – ideally around 30 hours to be completed between now and June 2023. Students may choose to complete these hours on a day release basis or block week during the holidays.
The College’s Work Experience Team are on hand to work with interested parties to understand your needs and help decide which programme is best suited to meet those needs.
