New Youth Enterprise Project at Tribe Carlisle

A new project at Tribe Carlisle, that gives local young people an opportunity to test their entrepreneurial skills is being introduced this summer.
Thanks to funding from Cumbria County Council and invaluable support and advice from Niall McNulty, The Hive at Tribe will be occupied exclusively by young entrepreneurs, and Carlisle City Council are particularly keen to support those facing barriers to starting up their own enterprise.

The Council believe that everybody is sat on a business idea, but often down to financial constraints, low confidence or lack of aspiration these ideas aren’t explored. Through this project they aim to create role models, inspiring other young people across the city to come and ‘have a go’ in a safe, low-risk environment.

Tribe Carlisle is a five year project funded by Carlisle City Council, and designed by Carlisle-based Blackbox Architects.
