Skills Hub Cumbria Masterclasses and Clinics

SKILLS Hub Cumbria – a skills-focused collaboration between Cumbria’s colleges and university – has launched a series of exciting masterclasses and clinics.

The events have been organised by Skills Hub Cumbria, a partnership between Lakes College, Carlisle College, Kendal College, Furness College and University of Cumbria which is aimed at identifying and addressing skills needs in the county.

Professor Andy Gale’s Wrecking Projects masterclass, the third and final event in a series, is set to be delivered for free online on Tuesday, 15th March, 2022.

Wrecking Projects will work from the position of how to wreck a project – on the basis that if we know how to make something fail and try not to avoid it, maybe there is a good chance of success.

The masterclasses have aimed to shine a light on complex issues in the county, with the two previous sessions delivered by University of Cumbria experts covering the future of supply chains and sustainability in the workplace.

The collaboration has also seen one-to-one entrepreneurship clinics launched in Cumbria with a world-renowned innovation expert.

Professor David Gibson OBE, who has worked with more than 30,000 people in over 15 years using his Efactor psychometric instrument and targeted guidance to help people achieve their aims.

The Wrecking Projects masterclass will take place online between 12pm and 1.30pm and places can be booked here.
