There are a variety of funding and grant opportunities available throughout Cumbria that your business may be eligible for. To apply for any grant or funding, please use the links provided below.

The Afghanistan Veterans’ Fund aims to increase capacity in services and initiatives that offer supportive comradeship, engagement and wellbeing efforts for those in the Armed Forces community impacted by events in Afghanistan, and the wider veterans community.

The Office for Veterans’ Affairs has asked the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust to run programmes that will award grants to improve wellbeing, resilience and promote good mental health, responding to increased needs in veterans who have served in Afghanistan and other recent conflicts and the wider veterans community.

Fund Her North aims to give Northern, female entrepreneurs equal access to funding to help them successfully scale their businesses. Fund Her North is a volunteer collective of over 28 women (in VC’s, funding organisations and angel groups), with a combined investment power of over £450 million.

Each of the members of the Fund Her North collective has already made a lasting effect on female entrepreneurs in the North, with a combined investment track record of over £75 million invested in female-led, start-up businesses. More details on Fund Her North can be found here.

Low Carbon Barrow Grant is still open for applications. The Low Carbon Barrow Grant encourages businesses and organisations across the borough to apply for new grants to take action on climate change. The scheme will cover two-thirds of the cost of an organisation’s measures to reduce carbon emissions. Find out more here.
