Our first peer network cohort met on Thursday 9th September, 11 business owners/ senior managers from varying business sectors, backgrounds and business sizes met for the first time under the guidance of experienced facilitator Sarah Stables.
Peer networks are perfect if you’re looking to:
- Overcome business challenges, benchmark against others and explore new solutions to problems
- Identify and take advantage of business opportunities
- Develop and cultivate a trusted network of business peer connections
- Evaluate your business style and develop your business skills
- Share experiences and ideas with likeminded business people
After a really positive and productive first session, delegates described actions they would take:
Honesty, implement, communication, thinking, consider others, leadership change, reflect, accept, observe, action.
Following on from the success of last year’s BEIS funded contract delivered on behalf of Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership, we are delivering 6 cohorts under our current contract – that’s 66 places on offer just through Cumbria Business Growth Hub.

- have been operating for at least one year
- have at least five employees (full time or part time)
