With the extension of a number of projects sitting within the Growth hub we have some great opportunities coming up to be part of that continuing impact, working as part of an vibrant, professional team – helping people throughout the county to start new businesses successfully and helping existing businesses to enhance their productivity and competitiveness and grow.

Assistant Project Manager (Project Facilitator)

We have an immediate opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager (Project Facilitator) to work on our ERDF Business Start-Up Support project (BSUS) and DWP New Enterprise Allowance start-up scheme.

These projects support people to explore starting up in business and get started, and work with young businesses in their early years of trading.

They offer a mix of support including advice, workshops, training, events and funding. This is a great opportunity to use your project facilitation skills and develop your career in project management, with real job satisfaction and the opportunity to progress to a full project management role.

Project Coordinator

We also have an immediate opportunity for a Project Coordinator to work on our ERDF Growth Hub project.

This project works with businesses throughout the county, offering advice, workshops, events and funding, plus the Cumbria Forum intensive development programme delivered by Lancaster University Management School.

This is a great opportunity for someone with robust administration and coordination skills to get involved in an exciting project that makes a significant differences to Cumbria’s businesses and economy.

These are 3 year fixed term contracts, with the potential for further opportunities within our fast-paced and varied business.

Both jobs are based in our Carlisle office.
