UKEF is the UK’s export credit agency, working alongside the Department for International Trade to support British exporters.
Their mission is to make sure that no UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance.
Last year they worked alongside over 70 private lenders and credit insurers, providing £2.5bn of government-backed support across 75 countries – at absolutely no cost to the taxpayer.
In addition to the private sector, they also work closely with the Department of International Trade, the Treasury and British embassies and consulates around the world.
