Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship  

If you run a business or work in the vibrant visitor economy or hospitality sector and want to develop the next generation of leaders you may want to consider their Chartered Manager Degree Apprentice (Visitor Economy Pathway) , the next cohort will commence this September.

The University of Cumbria is the leading provider of management training for the visitor economy sector and has been successfully developing aspiring and upcoming managers in the hospitality industry through this programme and others for a number of years.

Join them and study a range of business areas including: 

  • Business Operations 
  • Management and Responsible Leadership 
  • Digital Marketing, PR & Sales 
  • Finance 
  • Organisations Behaviour 
  • Business Analytic 

Learning will be delivered through a blended approach across two academic semesters (Sep-Dec 2024 and Jan-Apr 2025), with learners supported to develop learning in the workplace via supervision and personal tutoring

Skills Bootcamps 

UoC are pleased to announce that from September (subject to contract), they will be running another series of the successful Skills Bootcamps. Following suggestions from employers and past learners they have made some changes to the programme including: 

  • Project Management – Now including the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification – Starting in Sept 2024 
  • Managing Procurement and the Supply Chain – NEW for Sept 2024! 
  • Leadership and Management for the Visitor Economy – starting in October 2024
