Cumbria Action for Sustainability – Help design green support for businesses

Cumbria Action for Sustainability has developed a survey to find out what support businesses need to be able to prosper, while also having a positive impact on people and planet, transitioning to a greener and safer future will bring enormous benefits to us all as well as improving business resilience.

The group includes South Lakeland District Council, Cumbria Action for Sustainability, Green Small Business, Future Fixers, Lancaster and Lancaster, CBEN, Lake District Foundation, University of Cumbria, Cumbria LEP, Cumbria Tourism and Cumbria Chamber of Commerce and the Zero Carbon Cumbria Partnership.

We have a shared vision to create an integrated programme of support for local businesses to help you achieve the benefits of becoming more sustainable.

The responses from this survey will help us improve the support we are currently offering to better meet your needs. We will also work together to co-ordinate our packages of support, filling gaps rather than duplicating, and making it easier for you to find out who can help you with what. As our network strengthens, we hope to co-ordinate efforts with more business support organisations across Cumbria.

They are also running free Low Carbon Solutions Workshops that are being delivered by Cumbria Action for Sustainability on behalf of Eco I NW. Booking links via eventbrite can be found below.
