We are running two Innovation Events in late April and early May led by Joanne Larty, Senior Lecturer from the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Lancaster University. These will provide an opportunity to meet with other likeminded businesses and refine your ideas.

This short event will provide insights into recent research on sustainable businesses in Cumbria, revealing what being innovative means to them, what enabled them to think in new ways about being sustainable, and where the challenges lie. A framework of ways to think more creatively around what sustainability might mean for your business will be presented, followed by a discussion on how such a framework might help you find practical and economically viable sustainability solutions for your business, as well as think about ways that sustainability might also be an opportunity to grow your business.
