A new WorkWell support service has been rolled out across South Cumbria to support employees return to or stay well in work.

Created as part of the Government’s plan to help people with health conditions back to work, the service provides tailored help and assessment for people aged 18 and above who are struggling at work due to their health or are taking a leave of sickness absence.

As part of the offer, which is delivered by Cumbria Health, individuals will have access to a work and health coach, who will offer individualised support to address individuals’ physical, psychological and social needs. In addition, the service provides access to local health support services provided by local Leisure Centres and MIND in Furness.
