What will I learn?

• Complete key skills in First aid
• Moving and assisting individuals
• Gaining an understanding of the legal requirements
• Duty of care and best practices of the care sector including medication and safeguarding. This knowledge will then be put into practice in our onsite new medical hub. This will include real life scenarios including first aid, moving and assisting individuals from beds to chairs and supporting with basic tasks like washing and accessing toileting.
• Further develop sector service skills by preparing for working in the sector including communication, working as a team, handling confidential information, and mental health awareness.
