Join Cumbria Chamber’s Women in Business Network for an interactive session exploring how leadership is changing and why behaviours such as building trust, creating psychological safety, developing others, communicating with empathy and leading through influence are becoming some of the most valuable leadership skills in today's workplace.

We'll explore:

• Behavioural leadership – why how we lead matters just as much as what we do.
• Creating cultures where people thrive and perform at their best.
• The difference between strategic empathy and people pleasing.
• Leading through influence rather than authority.
• Recognising and owning the strengths we often underestimate in ourselves.
• How to use those strengths to increase our impact, visibility and influence in business.

We’re not suggesting women need fixing; quite the opposite.

This event is about helping women recognise the leadership qualities they already possess, understand why those qualities are increasingly valuable, and have the confidence to use them intentionally.

The event has been designed to be highly interactive with discussion, reflection and practical activities, giving delegates the opportunity to share experiences and leave with actions they can apply straight away. We’ll end the event with afternoon tea and networking.
