About meIt all began in 1972. I wasn't born an aRTIST, did I want to be an aRTIST? Or did I have to become an aRTIST?I enjoyed art at school, I was good at 'copying' things.....I then went to aRT school........I then went to college to study dESIGN.....I then wanted to be a film director.......Then my Father died.......I then had a revelation that I wanted to be an aRTIST.....My aRTI have created for most of my life.Mediums have varied.......drawing - printing - sculpting - video - photography - musicI discovered PU (polyurethane) by accident. I saw it splashed on walls and floors in an industrial environment.......I took this medium and began a company called PUart. It was a commercial venture and catered for businesses and homes.sycotropic aRTThis now brings to where I'am as a human and an aRTIST.It is an inner need to create.......I take influence from the world around me. I see things and hear words that inspire me.A lot of my work is autobiographical. It comes from inner feelings and the experiences I have had to deal with........Influencesimages - pharmaceutical - electric - trauma - chemicals - hospital - light - words - physics -engineering - medicine - science - illness - shadows - questions with no answers - grief - imagination - lived experience - surgery
