There are a number of options available, from one off sponsorship of an event to larger, longer term opportunities. All however, offer the chance to increase your engagement, extend your reach, enhance your profile and promote your business to a wider audience and for very little investment.

Our online four day business start-up course has been part of business support delivery for over 20 years. Over that time we’ve given thousands of individuals the knowledge and skills to start their own business. The course has also sustained and grown many early stage trading businesses - something we’re extremely proud of. We offer the only start-up course in Cumbria which runs every other month and covers a number of topics including business planning, finances, sales, marketing, record keeping, sustainability and so much more.

Sponsorship of each course is £2,000 +VAT (we will consider 50% sponsorship and sponsorship of one or more courses).

Cumbria Business Growth Hub delivers a wide range of business support activities – options for sponsorship include places on our six months mentoring programme, export consultancy support, Access to Finance service (the only one in Cumbria), one to one adviser support, commercial training, webinars and site tours.

Conference Cumbria – now in it’s fourth year, this event has grown year on year not just in prestige but also in numbers. Each year we’ve invested in a well-known keynote speaker, this year we have booked Sir Clive Woodward. The aim is to hit the venue maximum capacity of 350 and with four sponsorship levels available this is the Chamber’s biggest event of the year.

Women in Business Network - The network will provide a diverse and engaging range of events and networking opportunities and build on the success of previous years’ International Women’s Day events. Our aim is for the network to generate business growth opportunities, development of contacts through networking and events, peer learning, improve skills and knowledge and empower women to celebrate themselves and their successes. Options for sponsorship are individual events or annual sponsorship.

We are also looking to run a sustainability event later this year along with our annual Leadership Conference next April – both of which will require sponsorship.

You can promote your business to a wider audience through our monthly business support newsletter. For just £100 +VAT you can promote an event, programme or funding opportunity, share good news or just promote your business.

Premium Listing Option on Cumbria Business Growth Hub’s business directory is available. If you’d like your business or organisation to have a more prominent category listing, we can also offer a ‘featured business’ premium listing. Available to book at £50 (+ VAT) per month, this is a ‘first come/first served’ service that will help to get your business noticed in searches.
