Our second Leadership Conference has been designed to create a highly engaging, human and reflective leadership experience – one that balances energy, depth and practical takeaways, rather than a series of passive talks.
Delivered by Laura Cadman of Laura Cadman Limited and Ben Hickman of Reflective Rebels, the day runs from 9.30am to 3pm on Wednesday 15th April at The Roundthorn Country House, Penrith.
The day will deliver a keynote address, a number of workshops and quick burst activities providing a jam packed day of takeaways and actions you can implement straight away.
Delivered by Laura the keynote challenges the idea that leadership wisdom only sits with “gurus at the front” and instead invites learning from the lived experience already in the room.
Laura shares her leadership story with honesty and vulnerability, using evidence, data and real examples to bring current leadership challenges to life.
Workshop 1: Vulnerability in leadership – how we ‘rumble’ well. Delegates leave this session having identified a small number of behaviours they personally commit to practising.
Workshop 2: Failure, learning and growth
A short plenary on why failure matters in healthy organisations and why leaders set the tone for learning cultures. Delegates are invited to reflect on and share something they have failed at, in a safe and supportive way. The session ends with a practical reframe on failure that delegates can immediately take back into their organisations.
Workshop 3: Who do you want to be as a leader? A reflective wrap-up focused on identity and intention. Delegates create a personal leadership artefact.
