Help into Mentoring Programme – final few places remaining

With funding until the end of March 2026, we’re keen to fill the last few remaining places on our Help into Mentoring Programme.

For businesses within the first two years of trading in the old Copeland Borough Council area we offer 20hrs of confidential mentoring support from one of our team of mentors specifically recruited to deliver this programme. The programme also offers additional support such as access to our four day business start-up course and other free training.

We’re supporting a whole host of business ideas including: piano technician, dog trainer and behaviourist, author, holiday lets, grief coach, blacksmith, travel consultant, vegan food business, beauty & hairdressing, cleaning and a sensory play centre.

You can also tap into funding of up to £400 through the Employability Fund, we’ve so far purchased a laptop, printer, various hair dressing equipment, a sander and polisher, a press and funded a nail course. We’ll get an application approved on your behalf, complete the paperwork and make the purchase.
