Data and Systems Integration

The Digital Technology Intern will support The Toffee Shop Limited to transition from paper based and spreadsheet driven processes to the NotaZone digital manufacturing system.

The role will focus on practical implementation, data migration, and embedding new digital ways of working across production, stock control, and food safety compliance. The intern will work closely with operational staff to understand existing processes and translate these into NotaZone workflows, ensuring the system reflects how the business operates day to day.

Acrastyle Ltd is a long-established engineering and manufacturing business specialising in high-voltage substation protection and control equipment. As the business continues to grow and modernise its operations, there is a clear opportunity to improve how data and systems support testing, stock management and decision-making.

This internship will support Acrastyle’s digital transformation journey by introducing practical automation, improving data visibility, and preparing the business for the future adoption of an SAP ERP system. The project aligns strongly with Made Smarter’s aim to help manufacturing SMEs adopt digital technologies in a practical, low-risk way.
