He was part of the management buyout team that transformed Winning Moves Ltd, achieving 400% growth in under three years. He’s also the founder of Leap the Crowd, a consultancy dedicated to helping ambitious businesses break through performance barriers and WeDoContent who work with research led organisations to deepen their impact through stakeholder engagement. 
Beyond his own ventures, Colin has played a pivotal role in transforming the North East into a scale-up success story. As Business Growth Director at the North East Local Enterprise Partnership, he led a 35-person team and aligned 75+ partner organisations to deliver a regional growth strategy that increased productivity, investment, and the number of scaleups. Programmes such as Scaleup North East, which Colin developed, have since become national exemplars.
