University of Cumbria
The University of Cumbria is a key provider of higher education in the North West of England. The university recruits nationally and internationally and has over 11,000 students.
The University of Cumbria has been established since 2007 and through its legacy institutions of St Martins College, Cumbria institute of the Arts and UClan has been delivering undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD programmes for over one hundred years.
Our main campuses are in Cumbria and Lancashire and
Tower Hamlets, London. The university mission is to provide and promote excellent, accessible higher education which enhances the lives of individuals and fosters the development of communities.

Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA)
In addition to a diverse portfolio of accredited higher level qualifications across a broad spectrum of employment related learning programmes, the University of Cumbria has a strong track record in working collaboratively with providers of further education to widen access and provide progression routes into higher level learning.
The university also accepts commissions on a commercial basis from employer organisations for the provision of non-accredited, tailored programmes to support workforce development and continuing professional development of employees within public and private sector organisations.
The University of Cumbria is an approved provider registered with the Education and Skills Funding Agency for the development and delivery of Higher Level Apprenticeships. With a focus on degree apprenticeships, and subject to the availability of new national standards, the University continues to develop its portfolio of Higher Level Apprenticeships.
