Help for manufacturers to digitise and innovate

The newly-launched Made Smarter programme supports manufacturers to digitise and innovate through expert advice, grant funding, leadership development and technical student placements.

You can learn more about the initiative at a free event near Milnthorpe on Thursday May 16th.

Chaired by Luke Dicicco, Group Business Editor at in-Cumbria Magazine, it features a panel debate with Alain Dilworth of Made Smarter, Jayne Moorby of Oxley Developments, Suzanne Caldwell from Cumbria Business Growth Hub, Steve Wilkinson of Cumbria Manufacturing Service, Tiffany Solender from the Department for International Trade and a representative from Cumbria LEP.

Covering topics such as skills, funding, barriers, support and leadership, this unique event serves as a platform to understand available support, glean best practice and take away useful actions to drive your operation forward.

With an anonymous live question poll, you can have all the questions you’ve been afraid to ask answered.

There will also be an opportunity to network and meet representatives from the panel in a mini-exhibition during the networking and over lunch.
