We’re pleased to launch three new grant schemes available to small and micro businesses in the Cumberland Council area thanks to funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Rural England Prosperity Fund. All three grant schemes are being delivered by Cumbria Business Growth Hub, the Chamber’s business support arm.
There are some postcode restrictions to the capital and tourism grants
Applications for revenue grants and vouchers will be offered on a first come, first served basis (subject to meeting the grant criteria) until funds have been fully allocated.
Expressions of interest for the capital and tourism grants need to be submitted by 12noon on Monday 8th July to info@cumbriagrowthhub.co.uk to be considered at the first panel.
Further opportunities may be available subject to availability of funding - see our website for submission deadlines.

To contact us directly email info@cumbriagrowthhub.co.uk We don’t have long to allocate funding – grants need to be spent and claimed by the end of January 2025 so I’d encourage any business interested to start the process straight away!
Thanks to UK Shared Prosperity funding from Cumberland Council and Cumbria Community Foundation we’re running the below fully funded training courses.

In partnership with North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, we are delighted to bring you a unique opportunity to meet, and hear from, three award-winning entrepreneurs, and stars of the hit BBC series, Dragons Den.
Following a very successful pilot programme we’re pleased to be able to offer at least 8 business owners the opportunity to propel themselves and their businesses to the next level – we already have our six sign up and all have been able to use a £500 voucher to cover most of the associated costs.
