This course looks at the advantages of claiming inward and outward processing relief, how commodity codes help, and the documentation required.
Inward and outward processing are methods of claiming relief from customs duties and VAT when importing into the UK, allowing companies to be more competitive by reducing costs.

This course is suitable for anyone involved in international trade, especially those involved in understanding cost savings, such as:

  • Understand the advantages of claiming IPR and OPR
  • Documentation required for IPR and OPR
  • Commodity and Procedure codes
  • Know how to work out customs duties
