The session covers, the main routes of selling into an overseas market, the buyer and seller payment terms to trade internationally, the importance of Incoterms® and how to use them, factors to incorporate when pricing an export quotation, terms and conditions to consider, who should insure the goods, workshop – building up an export sales quotation .

Presenter: Mandy Lockett MIEx - With 32 years of international and commercial experience, commencing her career as an Export Sales Manager for a local manufacturing company, travelling widely to countries around the world, dealing with distributors, agents, payments, legislation, contracts and agreements. Mandy’s role is dedicated to providing and delivering a comprehensive support and consultancy service for British companies with an aim to encourage companies to start to increase their international trade activities.
