Hi

Day in, day out; 17 (and increasing) new posts are published every second on WP sites worldwide. The amount of Wordpress content is simply staggering. This day will allow you to understand why it has become such a popular method of publishing.

Wordpress is what's known as a Content Management System or CMS. It sounds technical - and it is. BUT...

Those nice people at Automatic have put this sophisticated software together in such a way that almost anybody can have their words and images online quickly and relatively easily!

Join Cumbria Chamber of Commerce and digital marketing professional Ray Cassidy, at Newton Rigg Conference Centre, Penrith 10am to 4pm. Please note there are two different days focused on individuals at a particular level of wordpress.

A dummy website will be prepared for the day so you will not need to install any software on the day. An up to date web browser is needed and up to date versions of Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari or Edge should work smoothly.
